Our posts are either Northern Red Pine or Southern Yellow Pine cut from sound, live timber and clean peeled to remove the bark, revealing a smooth, even surface. The post is double end trimmed to length and sorted to uniform size, then properly seasoned by air drying, kiln drying or conditioned in the treating cylinder.
